Yardiel has held multiple roles as Principal Consultant, Principal Architect, Corporate Engineer, Consulting Engineer, Director, Engineering Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Director in companies such as Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Proteus/Torreypoint, Solunet, AT&T Labs, and FPL FiberNet.
Yardiel has extensive theoretical and years of practcal knowledge with designing, architecting, testing, auditing and deploying network solutions for well-known Service Providers and cloud providers; including Some Fortune-500 customers such as Disney, Verizon (Terremark), Vonage, Kinber, FPL, AT&T, Lightower/Sidera, US MED, Navega-LatinAmerica, Cable&Wireless, DigitalOCean, etc.
Yardiel also has experience in programming and network automation; initially, as a software engineer using Perl and C ; and more recently with scripting languages such as: SLAX, and Python programming for NetOps and SecOps as well as for the growing areas of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). Concurrently, Yardiel is a sought-after instructor for Service Provider and Enterprise sales and engineering staffs on SDN, OpenFlow, and Juniper Contrail including hands-on lab proctoring.
In short, Yardiel has worked and provided technical consulting services for different customer size networks in the Enterprise and Service Provider sectors worldwide. This vast experience has provided Yardiel a solid, and practical, knowledge which, along with his written and verbal communication skills, are leveraged in benefit of all his customer involvements.
Yardiel has multiple advanced Engineering and Business degrees (MBA, MSEE, BSEE) from the University of Texas, Tulane, and Florida International University. Yadiel is a published IEEE technical author from his years in R&D, and holds a Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Florida.
